The AD73411 is a single device incorporating a single analog frontend (AFE) and a microcomputer optimized for digital signalprocessing (DSP) and other high-speed numeric processingapplications.The AD73411’s analog front end (AFE) section is suitable forgeneral-purpose applications including speech and telephony.The AFE section features a 16-bit A/D converter and a 16-bitD/A converter. Each converter provides 76 dB signal-to-noiseratio over a voiceband signal bandwidth.The AD73411 is particularly suitable for a variety of applicationsin the speech and telephony area, including low bit rate, high-quality compression, speech enhancement, recognition, andsynthesis. The low group delay characteristic of the AFE makesit suitable for single or multichannel active control applications.The A/D and D/A conversion channels feature programmableinput/output gains with ranges of 38 dB and 21 dB respectively.An on-chip reference voltage is included to allow single supplyoperation.
